Joyce —Conveying Negative Information
Good class—offered usable strategies! I tend to be concrete and sequential (direct and sometimes tactless), and this information gives me a format to develop softer, more compassionate ways to be the bearer of bad tidings. Thank you! |

Renate —Conveying Negative Information
You (Annmarie) are so insightful when it comes to understanding people. I learn from you more each time I am in a class you teach. I have respect for what you have learned and (that you) are able to share the same in class. Thanks! |

June —Conveying Negative Information
I enjoyed this class very much. It gave me many new ways to address conveying neg. information. I am often on the side of conveying neg. info. to parents about their children in my detention classes. In the future, after having taken this class, I believe I will have an easier time of it. I will be more confident when doing it & hopefully come across to the parent in a positive and caring way. Annmarie did a great job in presenting the information. The examples she provided for Dad New components were out standing & very insightful. |

Janet —Conveying Negative Information
I will use this information a lot. I do talk to the parents about a number of different problems.
By using the four steps (buffer, reason, bad news and closing) it will help me slow down and think of what I would say and why. |
